What is the purpose of this website?
RateYourCompany allows everybody to freely express his opinion about his company. If you love or hate the company you are working for, or where you previously worked… say it! This way, other people will be able to benefits from your opinions.
Your opinion is communicated through a rating, but your comment is the most important part. The more your comment is detailed, the more it will be helpful and consulted by several people. RateYourCompany will allow you to make the most of numerous interesting opinions, especially while looking for future employment opportunity.
What are the rating rules?
Avant tout évitez de ne mettre que des 0 ou que des 10. Réfléchissez à chacune des notes. Votre commentaire doit contenir un minimum de 150 caractères. Il est nécessaire de lire et d'accepter les conditions d'utilisation avant de soumettre une notation.
Is my rating anonymous?
Your comments appear like anonymous and your e-mail address is not visible. Despite this apparent anonymity, RateYourCompany’s administrators keep track of the e-mail address and the IP address of the user. Consequently, the users have to realize that if required to do so by law, the user information could be released.
What should I do if I didn’t receive my confirmation e-mail?
It is possible that your confirmation email went to your spam mail folder. This can happen with a hotmail, yahoo or gmail e-mail address. In this case, go to your spam folder, open the email from RateYourCompany and click on the “Click here” link. If it is not in your spam folder, please send an e-mail to contact@rateyourcompany.com using the same electronic address used at registration.
What are the meanings of the different rating criteria?
- Salary: do you have a good salary?
- Respect: Are you treated correctly?
- Benefits: Does your company offers benefits? (discounts, stock options, …)
- Security: Do you have a job security or you can be laid off any giving day?
- Stability: Does your company allows you to have a social life? Are you working overtime?
- Career: Does your company offer some interesting advancement opportunities?
- Location: Is your company located in a nice location? (Proximity, easy access)
- Work environment: Are you happy with your work environment? Are you working in a pleasant space?
- Co-workers: Are you co-workers reliable, nice and open or are they unmotivated and incompetents?
- Managers: Are your managers competent and friendly?
- Fun: Is your work fun? Is there a good vibe in your work team? (Breaks, after work activities, sports…)
- Parity: Are women and men treated equally?
